This trip combine the shorly image of Sapa and Muong Hum vision, the market deeply shows the typical cultural features of Vietnam's remote areas.

 Night 1: Hanoi - Sapa

At 08: 30pm our tour guide will pick you up at hotel lobby to escort you to the Hanoi railway station for night train to Sapa. The train conditions are very basic however we will travel in soft sleeper class which is compartment for 4 passengers. Stay overnight on the train. 
 

Day 1: Sapa-Suoi Ho-Taphin –Sapa (10 km) (B)

Train arrives at Lao Cai Railway Station at 06: 00am, transferred to Sapa by bus. Have your breakfast at restaurant in the town and have a walk to Sapa market to see the local people purchasing the product. Then whole day trekking following the buffalo trails, we trek up and down hills through the forest and on the terraced rice fields and visit the villagers of Black H'mong tribe in Ma Tra and Suoi Ho villages. We pass schools with scenic views of terraced rice fields and picnic lunch on the way and then continue our trek to Taphin with Red Dzao ethnic group. We meet the jeep & transfer back to Sapa. Stay overnight at hotel in Sapa.
 

Day 2: Muong Hum Market - 110km (B)

After having breakfast in Sapa we go to the Muong Hum Market by a van. It takes us 2 hours to get there. This is a colorful market situated in a small village in the mountain. You will see several different minority groups here but mainly the Flower H’mong people. The local people come here not only to buy and sell clothes, vegetables, meat and cattle but eat and drink wine together as well. In the afternoon we have 2 hours trek up to Nam Pung village where we can meet Ha Nhi ethnic group and understand little more about their lifestyle. After the village we go back to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. The guide sees you off at Lao Cai train station and takes you on the train. Stay overnight on train. 
 

Day 3: Hanoi arrival

Train arrives around 06: 00am, turn back to your hotel on your own. End tour.
* Note: tour finishes at Hanoi railway station.

Sapa, 38km from Lao Cai railway station, is an incredibly picturesque village lying on Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Nowadays it remains relatively undiscovered as a tourist destination.
Situated at an elevation of 1, 650 meters and overlooking Fansipan (Vietnam's highest mountain at 3, 143 meters), Sapa can have all four seasons in one single day.
An early morning drive towards Sa Pa. The roads are bumpy at times, but changing scenic landscapes from the delta area to the Tonkinese Alps make it an interesting journey.
