Fansipan Sapa
Fansipan itself is an attraction of Sapa area as well as Northern Vietnam. The peak is a part of Hoang Lien mountain range, which is under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. The trip offers you an opportunity to explore the beautiful nature and chanlenge yourself.
Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai
At 08: 30 pm our tour guide will pick you up at hotel lobby to escort you to the Hanoi railway station for night train to Sapa. The train conditions are very basic however we will travel in soft sleeper class which is compartment for 4 passengers. Overnight on the train.
Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - 2500m (L, D)
Today the real climb starts. A jeep will take you to Cat Cat Village. From here you walk down to at Cat Valley at 1.100 m. You will cross a river and from here it is uphill on narrow trails and through small spectacular passes with a subtropical forest. Be aware of leeches on the first part of the trek. We will set up our camp at an altitude of around 2.000 m. and our guide and porters will prepare the food on a open fire.
Day 2: Fansipan - 2700m (B, L, D)
This day the trail becomes more steep and sometimes you will have to climb a bit by using the roots of the trees. You will walk through dense trails with bamboo. Today you will walk 6-8 hours. At the altitude of around 2.700 m. we will set up camp.
Day 3: Top of Mountain - 2700m (B, L, D)
After breakfast we will continue uphill and after a couple of hours walk we reach a top (2.900 m) from where there is a nice view of Sapa and Fansipan. From here it is downhill to the camp in 2.600 m. We leave some of the porters to prepare the camp and continue up on trails through dense bamboo forest and small bushes. Suddenly we arrive to the top of Fansipan (3.143 m). If the weather is clear you can see all the way to China in the North and West and Lao in the South. The view is fantastic. From here it is straight back down to camp.
Day 4: 2700m - Sapa (B)
Train arrives in Hanoi around 06: 00 am. End of tour.

Day 5: Sapa Free - Lao cai railway station (B)
Free on your own to explore Sapa town or hang around the market until time transfer back to Laocai railway station for night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Day 6: Hanoi - Departure
Train arrive Hanoi around 06: 00 am, tour finish at railway station.
