Hanoi - Halong Bay & Cat Ba Island - Hue - Hoi An - Nha Trang - Saigon
A shorter program focussing on the best attractions of Vietnam. Beginning in Hanoi, visit Ha Long Bay, the central coastal towns of Hoi An and Hue, the highlands at Da Lat, Saigon and the Mekong Delta. Ancient Hanoi is our starting point from where we visit Ha Long Bay and a number of nearby historic craft villages. Then by overnight sleeper train to the former Imperial capital of Hue. Here we travel by boat on the Perfume River to the majestic Emperors Tombs and Royal City. On the drive over Hai Van Pass there are glorious coastal views on the way to Da Nang and the UNESCO protected town of Hoi An.
A short flight brings you to Nha Trang, famous for its crystal clear water favoured for swimming and snorkelling, which you can enjoy during our boat trip to outlying islands. Continue to the highlands town of Da Lat, once the summer capital of Emperor Bao Dai and the summer retreat for the French. The program concludes after a comprehensive visit to the Mekong Delta and Saigon. Accommodation is good quality 3 and 4 star hotels, centrally located within a short walk to most attractions including popular restaurants and cafes. Extra inclusions are two lunches including a superb seafood lunch on our boat at Nha Trang, and a dinner. The boat trips and internal flight are also included.
Day 1: Hanoi (D)
Arrive Ha Noi. Pick up and transfer to hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Ha Noi (Dinner included).
Day 2: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Island ( B, L, D)
Early breakfast at the hotel, joining tour to Halong Bay: depart at 8: 00am. 12: 00 reaching HalongBay. After lunch, afternoon is reserved for 4-hour boat trip to visit the bay. Transfer to Catba. Dinner in restaurant and Overnight in hotel in Catba.
Day 3: Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong - Hanoi ( B, L, D )

Day 4: Hanoi - Hue ( B, L, D ) (Flight)
Pick up at the hotel and then transfer to the airpot for the flight VN243 (6.15 - 7.55). Pick up then tranfer to hotel. Excursion in sampan on Perfume River. ThienMu Pagoda, HonChen temple, TuDuc tomb, KhaiDinh tomb. Walk around Perfume River.
Joint traditional Music show on boat. Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 5: Hue - Danang - Hoi An ( B, L, D )
Depart by car or minbus to Hoian. On the way to Hoian stop in LangCo, the village of the fishermen and then have bathe in the beach. Visit HaiVan Pass, Cham Art Museum, Marble Mountain. After the lunch departure for HoiAn. Visit Hoian: Japanese Covered Bridge, TanKy Old house, Assembly Hall Chinese. PhucKien Pagoda, Hoian Museum and Market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Visit Hoi An (B, L, D)
Fullday visit Hoian: FucKien Pagoda, Hoia Museum, Japanese Covered Bridge, TanKy Old house, Assembly Hall of Cantonese Chinese Congregation, Hoian market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Hoi An - Nha Trang ( B, L, D ) (Flight)
From Hoi An we transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Vietnams premier beach city of Nha Trang. This afternoon we will visit the Po Nagar Cham Tower and the Oceanographic Institute. The remainder of the day is free to relax on the beach.
Day 8: Nha Trang ( B, L, D )
Full day boat trip to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium, Hon Mun and Hon Tam Island. Sea-bathing in the blue water beach. You can also enjoy diving or snorkelling at the islands. Lunch on boat. Dinner at restaurant. Night in Nha Trang.
Day 9: Nhatrang - Ho Chi Minh City ( B, L ) (Flight )
Transfer to the airport by private car to take the flight VN335 (12.10 - 13.10). Pick up and take you to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Depart Ho Chi Minh City ( B )
Free time until transfer from the hotel to the airport for your flight out of Vietnam.
